The celebrated blonde goddess Paris Hilton (b. 17 February 1981) has split from boyfriend Stavros Niarchos.

Paris Hilton is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton (born 25 December, 1877, died 1979), founder of the Hilton chain of hotels. Presently, there are about 500 Hilton hotels worldwide, and in many languages, "Hilton" is a synonym for "hotel." Ms. Hilton is an heiress to the Hilton fortune, estimated at 300 million dollars.

Stavros Niarchos III, 21, (b. April 17, 1985), has split from hotel heiress Paris Hilton.

Stavros Niarchos III's father is Philippo Niarchos and his mother is the former Victoria Guinness.

The eldest of three children, Stavros Niarchos is the grandson of Greek shipping magnate (often called "The Golden Greek"), Stavros S. Niarchos (died, 1996).

The latter was from a rich family (his father married an heiress), was awarded a doctorate of law, and went on to become a billionaire best-known for his shipping endeavors but whose fortune also derived from diversified financial activities carried out under the umbrella of the Niarchos Group (founded, 1939).

Niarchos III attends the University of Southern California film school and is a professional kiteboarder, appearing in Kiteboarding magazine and several kiteboarding DVDs.

"Last month Hilton threw Niarchos a surprise 21st birthday bash at her Hollywood Hills pad. Some 100 guests turned out for the party, during which "Stavros did back flips into the pool and jumped from one end to the other," said a guest. 'Everyone gasped and begged him not to continue because his stunts looked dangerous.'

"The happy couple were inseparable that night, holding hands and kissing."
